Frequently asked questions

How do I connect a service?

Open the app, go to the Services tab, and tap any service. You'll be prompted to paste an API token. Each service shows instructions for where to generate your token.

What's the difference between On Device and Cloud Sync?

On Device stores your API token in the iOS Keychain. It never leaves your phone. The tradeoff is that monitoring only happens when the app is open.

Cloud Sync encrypts your token and stores it on our server, enabling background polling and push notifications even when the app is closed.

Can I use hexwatch without creating an account?

Yes. Tap "Use without account" on the login screen. All tokens will be stored on-device with zero-knowledge security. Background polling and push notifications will be disabled.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings > Danger Zone > Delete Account. This permanently removes your account and all stored data, including encrypted tokens.

Which services are supported?

hexwatch supports 20 services: Vercel, Railway, Supabase, GitHub, Cloudflare, Sentry, Stripe, Linear, Resend, BetterStack, Netlify, Fly.io, Neon, Datadog, PagerDuty, Clerk, PostHog, RevenueCat, GitLab, and AWS CloudWatch.
